AIDA · WEBSITE AND MOBILE APP

Privacy policy

Understand which data is used, why it is used and how to exercise your rights over your AIDA account.

Last updated: 13 September 2026

1. The AIDA website and app

This policy covers the website aida-dz.xyz, the AIDA platform’s account services and the mobile app AIDA. It applies to visitors, registered users and representatives of companies and partners using these services.

AIDA is a service dedicated to networking and collaboration in the automotive industry. Personal information means information that can identify an individual, including in a professional context.

2. What data is involved?

  • Registration and sign-in: username, email address, phone number, password and requested role. Verification information is used to confirm your identity or contact details.
  • Professional profile: information about your company, position and activities, and the documents or content you choose to provide in the modules you use.
  • Requests and communications: information submitted through contact, membership and support forms, and in communications related to the service.
  • Technical data: connection and browsing information, IP address, cookies, session identifiers and, in the app, a technical notification identifier when this service is enabled.

You do not need an account to view public pages. Registration lets you request access to restricted features; some access depends on your role and approval of your profile. Required fields are indicated in the relevant process.

3. Why do we use this data?

Data is used to create and manage your account, authenticate you, process your requests, provide access to authorised features, facilitate professional exchanges and send messages necessary for the operation and security of the service.

It may also be used to prevent abuse, resolve incidents and understand website traffic. Each processing activity must have an applicable basis: your consent where required, delivery of the requested service or a legal obligation. Creating an account does not amount to general consent to every use of your data.

4. How is your data protected?

AIDA commits to implementing appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Access to restricted features and information is limited according to the permissions granted.

Industrial data and professional contact details are accessible to other users only in accordance with the service’s visibility rules and granted permissions. Confidentiality also depends on the information you choose to share and who you share it with.

No solution can guarantee absolute security. Protect your credentials, never share your passwords or verification codes, and report any suspicious use of your account.

5. Who may receive your data?

Depending on the service used, recipients may include people authorised to manage AIDA, partners with whom you share information, and providers needed for hosting, email delivery, authentication and notifications.

The app uses Google Firebase for authentication and notifications. The website uses Google Analytics to measure its traffic. Depending on the provider, these services may involve processing data outside your country.

Data may be disclosed to authorities when required by law.

6. Cookies, notifications and permissions

The website uses session mechanisms and remembers, in particular, your selected language. It also includes Google Analytics for audience measurement. These tools help us maintain the service and understand how it is used.

You can manage cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may disrupt some features.

You can manage the app’s notifications and permissions in your device settings. You can allow or deny microphone or camera access in your device settings; features that rely on them may then be limited.

7. How long do we retain data?

Account data is retained for as long as needed to operate the account. Contact requests, technical logs and supporting documents are retained for a period appropriate to their purpose and applicable obligations.

After account deletion, associated personal data is deleted or anonymised, except where continued retention is necessary on an identified legal basis. Access to data retained for this reason is restricted.

8. What are your rights?

Under the conditions set by applicable regulations, you may request access to your data, its correction and exercise your right to object. You may request erasure where the conditions allow and withdraw your consent to processing based on that consent.

Proportionate identity verification may be necessary to protect your account. Do not send a password or identity document without a justified request.

For processing subject to Algerian law, the reference framework is Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018, as amended and supplemented, notably by Law No. 25-11 of 24 July 2025. You may also contact the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (ANPDP).

9. Delete your AIDA account

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by writing to aida@crea.dz from the email address you used to register. Use “Delete my AIDA account” as the subject. Do not share your password.

Your request may require identity verification. Some data may be retained where a legal obligation justifies it; you can request details of the data concerned and its retention period.

Coming to the app: an option will let you request deletion from your account settings. A confirmation email will be sent once deletion is complete. This feature and its email confirmation are not yet available.

Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete your account.

10. Contact and changes to this policy

For privacy questions and to exercise your rights, contact the AIDA team at aida@crea.dz. Include the purpose of your request and the address linked to your account, without sharing your password.

This policy may change as AIDA services or applicable obligations evolve. The update date appears at the top of this page; users will be informed of significant changes through an appropriate channel.
